Ad agency Carmichael Lynch teamed with Gasket Studios goes online to continue it’s irreverent and successful commercial ad campaign with this interactive web ad for Jack Link’s Jerky, North America’s best selling brand. As you roll over the add, users get to poke Sasquatch with your cursor. Then he gets mad, destroying your cursor in a myriad of ways including by fire, saw, paper wad and eating it with milk. The movie is a montage of all the possible action.
Gasket was charged with supervising the filming of Sasquatch in the studio at Carmichael Lynch with creative director Brock Davis and their team. Sasquatch costume was amazingly detailed and frankly a little scary. Gasket creative director Greg Shultz waisted no time in getting his mug shot.
Back at Gasket, we tracked and animated all of the cursor action, integrating it with live action movements from Sasquatch. The web developer then took our content and programmed the user interface for the web ad.
